Lead the period end close process and accounting activities including review of journal entries, reconciliations, provisions, accruals, impairment testing, etc.
Oversee accounting & record maintenance for internal & outsourced processes Pre pare Financial Statements and related schedules disclosures letters as well as r elevant reports for internal group reporting as per Ind AS & US GAAP Manage the general ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking and inter company reconciliations Liaise with other F&A sub functions and external consul tants to gather inputs for timely and accurate reporting Obtain strategic inputs from the Finance Controller and implement appropriate accounting policies inclu ding adoption of new accounting standards as applicable Tax Accounting Handle ac counting, financial reporting, disclosure, and record maintenance for Direct and Indirect taxation Work closely with the tax consultants to ensure timely accoun ting, reporting & compliances Obtain inputs from the tax consultants for prepara tion of current & deferred tax schedules, provisions, reconciliations and report s Audit Support Serve as the key point of contact for external and internal aud itors Update internal control narratives, flowcharts, and preparation of schedul es for auditors Ensure appropriate data flow to the auditors from all the functi ons sub functions including redressal of audit queries Provide inputs for XBRL filings and other statutory compliances Ensure compliance with appropriate legis lation policies GAAP
