Unity Game Developer

About us: Elixir Game labs is a part of a well-established group TCM Services, that focuses on seed funding globally since 2016 and has its presence in Navi Mumbai in India and Florida in the US. Elixir Game labs was envisaged and incorporated in 2022. We are a young team of highly energetic gaming enthusiasts with a passion to create engaging mobile games.

About the role: As a unity game developer your primary responsibilities will be to implement game functionality translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging game and creating a sophisticated design. The role would be reporting to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

· Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

· Understand the requirements detailed in the Game Design Documents and plan the development pipeline with the team.

· Take a hands-on approach in the development of prototypes quickly and testing the game functionality and theme dynamics.

· Address and fix the bugs and other technical issues identified for the subsequent release.

· Actively suggest and implement the best solutions in the development process and in the game systems.

· Ensure good communication & coordination between the programming and other parts of the team.

· Responsible for creating and updating technical documentation.

· Liaise with QA and compatibility departments & aid in the testing plan.

Candidate requirements:

· B.E./B.Tech or MCA, BSC IT, MSC IT. Certifications preferred.

· Experienced with Mobile/Unity3D platform and ecosystem.

· At least 2 to 3 games released on Play store / App Store.

· Proficient in Xcode & Objective C, as well as Android Studio.

· Has implemented saved game data, like player progress, in a structured and extensible format like JSON

· Experience in working with Asset Bundles workflow.

· Develop new and innovative features played by millions of players using C#, C++, JavaScript.

· Experience in integrating and troubleshooting third-party SDKs and Ad networks in Unity

· Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, 2D/ 3D Math, and data structures.

· Experience using gaming and non-gaming APIs for, e.g., fetching and storing Data for web services, databases or disk access.

· Experience in memory management for mobile games.

· Working knowledge of JIRA is a plus.
