Tentacle - Android Developer - HMI

Experience : 3 to 10 Years

Position : Full Time Permanent

Skill : Android with HMI development experience in the Automotive Domain

Work Location : Bangalore

Work from the Office is mandatory, if candidates are from other locations they must relocate to Bangalore

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days' notice max.

Mandatory Skills
• 3 -10 years of experience in Android Application and HMI development
• Expert in Android Application development and integration on an embedded platform
• Strong in Core Java and OOP concepts
• Willing to learn Android Framework and Automotive IVI domain.
• Good understanding of Android Binders
• Exposure to Android Components like Activity, services, broadcast receivers, and content providers

Good to Have :
• Working knowledge in one or more domains at APPLICATION LAYER will be an added advantage
• Connectivity: Audio, VPA (Virtual Personal Assistant: Alexa, Google etc), Camera, Navigation, HMI
• Good in data structures.
• Exposure to concepts of JNI. Experience in interfacing Java and Native layer modules through JNI.
• Automotive knowledge will be a plus, though not mandatory.
• Proficient in multi-threaded programming and middleware solution development on Android environment. Strong in fundamentals of IPC and OS concepts
• Experience with configuration management (GIT) or similar SW management tools is beneficial
• Kotlin and Unit test framework will be an added advantage.
