SQL Database Administrator/Developer
Full Time Contract Job Opportunity
Location & Work mode - Remote
Work timezone - 2 pm to 11 pm IST
Exp - 4+ years
Must have Skills -
1. Database design and development 1-2 years (Working extensively with tables, triggers, constraints, indexes – Candidate needs a solid understanding of database model and fundamentals of RDBMS)
2. TSQL development ( Able to write simple to medium queries using joins)
3. Data migration ( SSIS – a minimum of 1-2 years of writing SSIS packages /Azure Data Factory Pipelines)
4. Performance tuning – ( 1 -2 years of using SQL Profiler, Extended Events, Read Query plans and able to interpret it)
5. Code review – ( this is something that can be picked up for a candidate who has solid understanding of TSQL )
6. Scripting ( PowerShell or something equivalent – to maintain modify and create SQL maintenance tasks )
7. Database Administration –( Basic understanding of how backups, restores work, knowledge about DMVS basic troubleshooting skills, this resource will be responsible for primary monitoring and fixing any non-prod issues, anything he cannot fix will be handled by onsite DBE)
8. Strong communication both written and Oral – ( This resource will work with onsite team closely on projects and will require to meet with us as needed to discuss requirements)
9. Overall, a good attitude and willingness to do research and learn according to the team’s needs and work independently with minimal guidance adhering to TJC standards and policies.
10. DEVOPs experience is a plus. ( nice to have)
