Role:

We're looking for a Senior Specialist for our Confluence team which leads and manages Atlassian Confluence aka wiki for our internal and external customers. In this role, you'll be closely working with the organizational initiatives team to lead and develop a knowledge and productivity SAS offering on top of Confluence by building/integrating plugins, custom interfaces, integrating with other enterprise software, public/private APIs and asynchronous workflows. An ideal candidate for this role would thrive at building software tools and integrations addressing the problems of information architecture, organization, dissemination and sharing across diverse functional teams to build a strong fabric of teamwork and improve their knowledge quotient.

Engineers at VDX.tv develop next-generation products that power our scalable ad tech platform, which enables advertisers across the globe to reach out to their consumers and deliver effective, engaging advertising. We're looking for engineers who are passionate about artificial intelligence, information retrieval, massive data pipelines, UI design, rich media frameworks, data insights, optimization, targeting strategies and solving large-scale system design challenges.

Responsibilities:
• Work on complex technical projects with peers distributed around the world in an innovative, fast-paced environment.
• Play a highly-accountable individual contributor role and document your work.
• Proactively communicate and know when to ask others questions or for help.
• Have a positive impact in small teams and work well both as an individual contributor and a team member.
• Build and manage the technology roadmap to service the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Operational Initiatives team to deliver features and improve productivity, security, reliability and performance of Confluence.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• At least 5+ years of experience designing, building and deploying applications in private and/or public cloud.
• Expert in front-end architecture, design and development.
• Specialization in Javascript (ES6), HTML5, CSS, experience with frontend/libraries such React, Vue, Angular.
• Experience with Java-based backend services, rule engines.
• Experience with developing, managing and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Mocha, Chai)
• Any working knowledge of cloud-based integrations with Atlassian Confluence.
