Software Engineer

In your role as a Software Engineer with Sandvine, you will be a part of a highly competent and self-sustaining team. In this role, you'll do root cause system level issue analysis comprehensively and ensure success for Sandvine’s customers. You'll be working with diverse teams across the organization and with external teams at the customer organization and partner organizations. Innovate by designing tools to increase automation efforts and help improve product stability, debugging ability and live network investigation methodology.

The Job

Ability to understand high performance code and the skill and passion to create high quality solutions yourself
Learn customer network deployment design and quickly iterate to what the real problems in a network are
Identify, design and develop solutions that enable customer success and improve the quality, usability and stability of Sandvine’s product suite
Root cause system level issues comprehensively and ensure success for Sandvine’s customers
Work successfully with diverse teams across the organization and with external teams at the customer organization and partner organizations
Innovate by designing tools to increase automation efforts and help improve product stability, debugging ability and live network investigation methodology
What skills you bring

A graduate (or) post graduate in Computer Science (or similar) from a reputed University/college
High experience of SW development
Excellent coding skills in Python
Excellent networking knowledge (TCP/IP and Layer 7 applications, other communication protocols in LAN/WAN environments; familiar with routers, switches and firewalls)
Networking tool familiarity (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc)
Experience from working in a Linux development environment
Experience on continuous integration concepts, tools (e.g Git), and best practices
Fluent in English, both in speech and in writing.
