Software Development Engineer - BI Developer

Responsibilities:
• Create ad-hoc and canned reports using Bl industry best practices, mainly in SAP BusinessObjects and Power BI.
• Provide production support for businesses when needed.
• Conduct data analysis, data reconciliation, and verification.
• Be able to analyze, design and develop complex reports and dashboards using BI tools.
• Interact with business users to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Work under pressure and deliver work in a timely and accurate manner.
• Good communication skills (both spoken and written), analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team player and work well with cross-functional teams globally.
Requirements:
• Should have the ability to do requirements analysis, design and develop complex reports (both ad hoc and canned reports), scorecards, and dashboards.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Business Objects Applications: Web Intelligence, Webi Rich Client tool.
• Good knowledge or experience in SAP BusinessObjects universe design and development, CMC, Publisher, Scheduler, etc.
• Good knowledge of relational data models and RDBMS.
• Strong skills in writing complex SQL in different databases and can conduct data analysis using SQLs.
• Exposure to the financial services industry is a plus.
• Have good knowledge of financial products.
• Scripting languages such as Python are good to have.
• Design and develop dashboards using Power Bl.
• Experience in DAX and Power BI Desktop
