SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Responsibilities and Duties
• Design and build robust, scalable advanced applications for the Web NMS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, innovate, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and get work done efficiently and effectively
• Must be analytical, flexible, innovative, and self-motivated

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience (with BS/MS in CS/IT), preferably from a product development domain
• Deep knowledge of Core Java
• Strong proficiency on Spring framework and components such as Spring core, Spring MVC, Spring Data, AOP programming etc
• Working knowledge of JSON, REST web services API, JMS messaging and web applications development
• Excellent understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Deep Understanding of OOP, Design Patterns
• Strong problem analysis and problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of standard development practices, Agile methodology, and tools like GitHub, JIRA, Maven
• Fair knowledge on Networking, SNMP, FCAPS, prior experience in NMS/EMS domain preferred

Desirable : (optional)
• Basic Linux knowledge, python scripting is a plus
• Knowledge of NoSQL, MongoDB, redis caching
• Knowledge of micro-services architecture, Docker, Cloud, AWS domain is an added advantage
