Senior/Lead Developer Content Technical Writer
Overview:
The Salesforce Content & Communications Experience (CCX) team is looking for an experienced technical writer, who can develop the content strategy and deliver critical developer documentation for our innovation-filled Customer 360 products

From

You will also provide strategic guidance and feedback to other writers working on developer content.
We're looking for an experienced and highly technical writer based out of India

You'll develop technical content for the CCX team in India and US

If understanding complex software systems, working with engineers, and writing API and developer documentation excites you, this position is for you

You'll collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers, and designers in India and the US

You'll also support other writers on the team by assisting with highly technical documentation.
Required Skills
3+ years of experience with technical writing and editing developer-focused documentation for software development audiences
3+ years of experience delivering API documentation
Experience documenting highly technical system architectures
Experience effectively communicating highly technical concepts to non-technical people
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or an English degree
Strong collaboration skills to partner with stakeholders and customers to identify key customer scenarios and questions to prioritize content
Superb English writing and editing skills
Ability to work on multiple projects at once
Great people and communication skills
Focus on quality and details
Strong team player
Desired Skills
Experience w/ SCM systems such as Perforce and Git / Github
Experience w/ cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
Experience with authoring in Confluence for internal audiences
Experience with SaaS or Salesforce applications
