Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Key responsibilities:

Design, write and test clean code using design patterns and best practices.

Focus on code quality, maintainability, scalability, security and performance.

Review code for other team members.

Travel as needed to Maersk locations to meet and work with development team members based abroad (e.g., Denmark/Hague).

Be flexible and perform out-of-hours support tasks if needed.

Key Responsibilities
• * Experience building and maintaining e-Commerce websites, including related technologies such as payment gateways, order fulfilment(order/release) transactions
• Write performant code using core Vue, Vuex, and Vue Router to create websites and web applications
• Experience with standard tools and services in JavaScript front-end development and software development, such as AJAX, HTML5, Laravel, Angular, Node.js, and npm
• Create tests for code written by yourself and other web developers, full-stack developers, and software engineers
• Integrate Vue into legacy projects which are built on PHP
• Diagnose and fix bugs and other software defects in new and existing Vue applications
• Experience using continuous integration/continuous delivery, Jacoco, Secure scan tools like Polaris and Black duck. Bonus points for knowing Azure DevOps.
• Experience of test-driven development (TDD) and behaviour-driven development (BDD) using frameworks such as Cucumber, Mockito, Powermock
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Experience in API design (Swagger/OpenAPI creation)
• Experience in build tools like Maven
• Very good understanding of Cloud Native architecture and development. (AKS)
• It will be good to have exposure to the Tech stack comprising Java 8+ as our preferred backend language, Spring Boot for our micro services, AKS for hosting our services, Kafka for eventing.
• Experience working on low latency, highly scalable applications.
• Experience of SQL/NoSQL databases like Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra. MongoDB or similar NoSQL database
