They lead the technical aspects of a project and provide guidance to other team members, including software engineers, testers, and technical writers. Key responsibilities of a senior software engineer may include: • Leading the design and architecture of software systems that meet the business and technical requirements. • Developing high-quality and scalable software code using programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Ruby. • Conducting code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality and performance. • Collaborating with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements, schedule and deliver software releases. • Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior engineers, including code reviews, pair programming, and technical training. • Staying up-to-date with the latest software development methodologies, tools, and trends, and sharing knowledge with the team to continuously improve the software development process
