Senior Product Manager

Commercial Systems & Technology organization is part of Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) responsible for all systems and tools to drive Cloud and AI Solutions to help customers realize value for their investments, by supporting Microsoft Field and Corp resources with programmatic and scalable assets. Commercial Systems & Technology Engineering team is responsible for driving and building apps and engineering solutions to enable various roles across MCAPS. Commercial Systems & Technology Engineering team is looking for a strong Product Manager who brings great technical expertise, thinks strategically, works pragmatically in a dynamic environment and enjoys delivering engineering solutions across a matrix of partner teams.

In this role, you will own products and solutions end-to-end, and will be responsible for product innovation and strategy, roadmap, feature requirements, user experience, product adoption and overall user satisfaction. We are looking for a someone with deep understanding of sales processes, Microsoft technology stack and cloud solutions to lead this initiative.

Responsibilities
• Envision and reimagine technologies at scale to empower Microsoft Sellers and Partners.
• Be data driven and outcome centric. Accelerate customer outcomes through experiences and analytics.
• Drive strategic decisions and execution to help build engineering solutions to improve user experience.
• Partners with the engineering team to contribute, prioritize, and deliver on the roadmap for multiple feature areas (e.g., product, service). Understands the value proposition for the multiple feature areas and answers technical questions on the multiple feature areas they own.
• Understands and starts to build experiences and optimize processes across multiple groups or divisions.
• Helps track and manage dependencies to enable cohesive, connected user scenarios, and to identify potential risk areas and escalate appropriately.
• Define and measure product success metrics to drive business value.
• Effectively communicate product plans and status.
• Become a subject matter expert within the company and work to significantly enhance digital and AI transformation in commercial systems.
• Contribute to architectural discussions to drive right technologies and solutions build product.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product management or software development OR equivalent experience in delivering multiple software products and services with end-to-end ownership.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple projects/features concurrently.
• Product mindset & demonstrate customer obsession, vision led, make data driven decisions, deliver right outcomes, and tell the story.
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively with engineers, leadership team as well as non-technical partners and customers.
• Excellent writing skills to deliver functional and technical specs, formal presentation and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior software development experience and/or experience with development of PowerApps.
• Effective at driving complex multi-stakeholder processes and cross-team programs. 
• Experience in Sales processes and systems.
• Ability to build effective relationships, influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.   
• Business acumen, analytical and detail oriented.
• Experience with leading digital transformation infusing AI capabilities.
• Ability to quickly learn existing concepts and employ new techniques.
• Business acumen and customer focus to understand customer scenarios and translate them as product/solution requirements.
• Drive engineering execution and delivery across all the disciplines to deliver scenarios and features with very high quality.
• Experience in analyzing data, deriving actionable insights to drive impactful engineering solutions.
