Senior Engineering Manager

What You'll do:
• Build and lead a team of engineers to create robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to solve complex problems
• Define best technology practices & ensure compliance
• Communicate design and test impact based on business requirements
• Understand business requirements, formulate use cases and come up with effective solutions
• Research and evaluate technologies and solutions to determine solution design options and trade-offs
• Able to engineer complex features/systems from scratch and drive them to completion
What makes you a great fit:
• 9-13 years of experience with a consumer internet/ e-commerce organization
• Deep understanding and prior hands-on experience of back-end technologies like Java & SQL
• Should be well versed with emerging design and architectural trends
• Expertise in effective planning and prioritization of projects to create an environment where randomization is either absent or extremely minimized
• Should have experience in leading and managing the performance of a team of 5+ engineers
• Able to break complex projects into modules and propose effective solutions in view of capabilities of existing platforms and infrastructure
• Should have prior experience in microservices and event-driven architecture
