Senior Drupal Developer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drupal Development: Develop and maintain Drupal-based websites and web applications, ensuring they are optimized for performance and scalability.

2. Custom Module Development: Design and develop custom Drupal modules and themes to meet project requirements.

3. Site Architecture: Collaborate with the team to plan and implement the information architecture and content structure of websites.

4. Integration: Integrate Drupal with third-party systems, APIs, and databases as needed.

5. Content Management: Configure and manage content using Drupal's content management features, including creating and managing content types, taxonomies, and workflows.

6. Quality Assurance: Perform thorough testing to ensure the quality and functionality of websites, including cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and security.

7. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in Drupal websites.

8. Security: Implement best practices for web security, including securing Drupal installations, staying up to date with security patches, and following industry standards.

9. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for projects, including code documentation, setup guides, and training materials.

10. Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to meet project goals and deadlines.

11. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest Drupal trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve skills and expertise.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

2. Proven experience as a Drupal Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your Drupal projects.

3. In-depth knowledge of Drupal 7, 8, 9, and 10 including module development, theming, and site building.

4. Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.

5. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflows.

6. Understanding of web security best practices and experience in securing Drupal installations.

7. Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques.

8. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

11. Drupal certification (optional but a plus
