Senior Infrastructure Engineer - AWS Cloud Location: 100% REMOTE INDIA Fully Remote $150/day or 2.4 LKH PM The purpose of the Resource is to provide capacity to support operational Service Delivery and the introduction of new services, involving; Housekeeping and monitoring within a Microsoft environment covering on-premise and Azure BAU Incidents, requests and changes identified in the TOPdesk IT Service Management System Devops activities covering Security, Capacity, continual improvements as a Sprint Team member Business transformation programme (P2025) project tasks as required via Devops activities. The Resources will have skill & competence commensurate with a Senior Technician with multiple years experience. Resources will have a board spectrum of experience covering many of the following technologies and ITSM disciplines. Microsoft Active Directory and related Microsoft technologies covering organisation security, users and computers Office365 online administration, for example, but not limited to, Office automation products, Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive. Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Tenancy Management, generalist all round skills, with capability to adapt/learn quickly. Device Management principles covering build, deployment, configuration, patching and release, using MDM solutions Microsoft Windows Servers, all generic competences coving, support, maintenance, troubleshooting and housekeeping Server Based computing principles, for example Citrix, Microsoft AVD, Windows 365, RDP, RDS Virtualisation technology covering hardware (server and SAN) & software (VMware), troubleshooting, maintenance & housekeeping Backup, Recovery and Disaster Recovery, configuration, troubleshooting and supporting periodic testing Networking principles and related security knowledge, Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Routing, DMZ, Zoning, DNS, DHCP, etc Application of IT Security & Cyber Security principles across all areas above. Continual Improvement, maintenance and housekeeping Performance will be monitored through TOPDesk and Devops as per standard Methodology and reviewed monthly as below TOPdesk delivery to the SLA Devops measured to sprint goals and assigned stories as agreed with Product Owner and Scrum Master Essential and Desirable experience/qualifications Person Specification Qualifications Degree level education Evidence of continuing professional development in relation to IT skills Experience Previous experience in a similar role Experience of delivering projects Experience of working within a complex or changing organisation Experience of IT within a non profit, charitable or regulated sector Managing and delivering a high performance, secure and stable infrastructure and communications. Proven experience of managing cloud services and solutions Implementing service improvements Managing 3rd party suppliers as resource to compliment in-house team. Knowledge & Understanding IT Networks Azure O365 Microsoft ATP Microsoft Exchange Citrix VMware / Virtualisation Technologies PowerShell Scripting SQL Management Data Centre Management SAN technologies Cloud Technologies Project Management, preferably PRINCE2 Foundation level ITIL foundation or understanding of service management principles.
