Purposeof the job

The Senior Android Developer at CollinsonsTravel Experience Division will be at the forefront of bringing ourvisionary roadmap to life focusing on delivering globally appealingcustomercentric solutions. Acknowledging the importance of regionalnuances the chosen candidate will guarantee that our digitalofferings strike a chord at both the universal and localizedlevels. This role is pivotal in architecting and developing Androidapplications that offer a smooth userfriendly travel experience forour global clientele.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and buildadvanced applications for the Androidplatform.
• Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to define design and ship newfeatures.
• Maintain and improve existingcodebase focusing on continuous integration and deploymentstrategies.
• Work on bug fixing and improvingapplication performance.
• Ensure the bestpossible performance quality and responsiveness of theapplication.
• Integrate with thirdpartylibraries and APIs ensuring seamlessfunctionality.
• Continuously discover evaluateand implement new technologies to maximize developmentefficiency.
• Coordinate with the design team toensure UI/UX best practices arefollowed.
• Address any security vulnerabilitiesand work to ensure a secure appenvironment.
• Stay updated with the latestmobile trends architectures and emergingtechnologies.

Knowledge skills and experiencerequired
• 26 years of strong design/developmentexperience overall with 2 years of mobile developmentexperience
• You have handson experience buildingmobile applications using Kotlin and solid understanding of Androidapp design principles patterns and bestpractices.
• Good knowledge of architecturaldesign patterns such as MVVM and MVP and proven experience ensuringmodularized and scalable app architecture.
• Youcare about user interaction usability and of course making theinterface beautiful.
• Ability to take ownershipand drive the development of exciting and impactful new featuresand products.
• A genuine passion for writingwellstructured readable and maintainablecode.
• You know what to test why to test it andhow to write flexible tests that wont break.
• Anagile mindset and experience with Agile practices (PairingTDD).
• You thrive in a team where you can learnand try new tech collaborate on technical challenges and grow as ateam
