Position Title: Principal Reliability Engineer

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities
• Define Reliability requirements using the VOC and business needs
• Develop reliability plan for the renal care devices
• Reliability modelling, prediction and allocation and define reliability critical components
• Particiapte in risk assessment
• Perform RBD, FTA and System Safety analysis
• Plan and develop reliability tests like HALT, ALT
• Plan and perform reliability growth and demonstration testing, develop test protocols and perform test method validation
• Manage and analyse the post market data
• Plan and perform software reliability testing

Must Have
• Bachelor’s degree in Reliability, Computer Science / Engineering, or Electronics Engineering or equivalent, Masters in reliability engineering
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware product development with good testing experience on electronics / electromechanical products

Nice to have
• Experience in Medical device industry
• Have a good working knowledge in Reliasoft, sound knowledge of reliability prediction using standard databases
• Good exposure to product life cycle phases and exposure to atleast one full cycle of product development
• Hands-on experience in developing in reliability test infrastructure
• Good knoweldge of statistics behind the reliability analysis
