Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge
Works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in solution or project goal terms
May provide a leadership role for the group in the area of specialization
Solves unique and complex problems with a broad impact on the business
Uses innovative thinking to develop solutions
Exerts technical influence within area of responsibility
Communicates on how decisions and work align with business objectives
Provides senior leadership with guidance
Actively participates in Scaled Agile Framework events adding value
May influence decisions at the company level
Anticipates internal and/or external business and/or regulatory issues
Recommends product, technology, process, or service improvements
Defines and promotes best practices
Works with engineering management on mentoring opportunities to provide at least two Learning sessions or Learning Seminars per year
Coaches less experienced engineers in technical and soft skills
About you:
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working in Kotlin on Android
Experience working on a multi-tenant mobile app
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Unit testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
Working experience with MVVM and repository design patterns
Understanding of how to troubleshoot common and rare development issues
Understand requirements and quickly identify changes to scope and project risks
Self-starting work ethic, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Junit
Deploying and monitoring apps via the Visual Studio App Center
Experience: 10+ years
Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent studies
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
A passion for healthcare, financial services, behavioral economics, consumerism and/or any combination of these disciplines
Strong interest in learning new things and comfort in pushing new boundaries
