Gradle/Java developer

We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in Gradle and Java.
Qualification
Min 3 years experience with Gradle
Excellent understanding of Gradle and its use in a java environment
Min 3 years experience with Java
What the person will do:
Migrating build.gradle groovy scripts to gradle 7
dealing with the removal of compile and runtime configuration and migrating to api and implementation
upgrading the build to remove any gradle 7 deprecations (and soon after gradle 8 deprecations)
upgrading external plugins to latest versions and assuring build still works correctly
correctly defined in this case as the various needs of core product, tools, integrations etc. are met.
updating internal plugins to fix deprecations and update according to latest gradle plugin patterns
documenting any updated patterns for use with gradle
Milestone 1 - current (6.X) gradle but no gradle 7 deprecation warnings
Milestone 2 - upgrade to gradle 7
Milestone 3 - gradle 7 with no gradle 8 warnings
Milestone 4 - gradle 8 (or possibly gradle 9 depending on our and gradles timelines)
Potential future work on improving build performance and developer productivity.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
