About Us:

Charitism.com was founded in 2019 by Sudhanshu Sharma as a donation crowdfunding platform dedicated to offering complete transparency to everyday donors regarding the allocation of their charitable contributions to non-profit organizations. With the support of over 1,00,000 + contributors, we have successfully funded more than INR 10 crore + in relief materials, positively impacting over 500,000 lives. Through collaborations with 15+ NGOs, we have delivered 450,000 cooked meals 5,000 dry ration kits, and 2,000 blankets, while also providing sustenance to 17,500 stray animals. Our commitment to safety and security has earned us the trust of our donors, motivating our dedicated team of ten young individuals.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and build an efficient, scalable website which can handle thousands of customers

at a time.

• Adding more features to our existing website which can ease the campaign launching

process for campaigners.

• Incorporating various tools which can track the user’s behaviour and other key metrics.

• Build APIs which are scalable and can help strategically partner with other companies or

organizations.

• Adopting and incorporating changes as per the new technologies.

• Investigate production issues pertaining to customer features to determine root cause and

implement solutions

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers to ensure design

vision is maintained, the final mark-up is standards compliant, and UI deliverables are

completed on time.

• Work with the real-time feedback from our users (external and internal) to make the

products better.

• Should be able completely to revamp the website with guidance from a technical advisor if

required

• Take ownership of the backend services, ensure the best possible performance, quality

and responsiveness, as well as maintaining code quality, organization, and

testing/deployment.

• Strong problem-solving skills, organizational and communication skills, team player

Qualifications & Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in full stack MERN development or Backend role

• B.Tech/M.Tech from premier colleges are preferred

• Hands-on experience in front-end languages preferably React, html5, CSS3, jQuery,

bootstrap, redux.

• Top-notch programming skills in JavaScript and a strong understanding of web

fundamentals

• Experience in backend languages preferably Node.js, Express.js, nest.js,

• Experience in cloud services like AWS, git Familiar with and using Visual Studio IDE
• Familiar with Mongobase

• Knowledge/experience in building Web APIs

• Good understanding of the foundations of security and best practices

• Good Problem-solving skills.

• Sharp articulation, should be able to convert data points into simple insights for teams &

for CXO level

• Comes with ownership mindset and ability to manage a team.
