Designation: Financial Accountant

Location: Remote (India)

Job Responsibilities:
• Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including card transactions, trading activities, and expenses.
• General Ledger Management: Keep the general ledger updated to track income, expenses, assets, and liabilities accurately.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and customer balances to ensure accuracy and promptly identify any discrepancies.
• Invoice Processing: Process and generate vendor and customer invoices, review expense claims and ensure timely payment of bills.
• Expense Management: Review and categorize expenses, ensure proper documentation, and reconcile expense accounts.
• Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing when needed.
• Accounts Payable: Process the vendor invoices
• Financial Statements: Prepare regular financial statements to provide insights into the company's financial health.
• Financial Reporting: Provide reports on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and offer insights when applicable.
• Tax Compliance: File statutory accounts and tax returns with the local tax authorities, including VAT (Value Added Tax) and corporate income tax. Stay updated with local tax regulations and ensure compliance.
• Audit Assistance: Assist with financial audits, providing necessary documentation and information, and addressing audit inquiries.
• Internal Control Procedures: Maintain internal control procedures to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, with knowledge of handling and submitting tax returns, is desirable.
• Degree educated in a Finance/Economics/Commerce subject.
• Qualified or part-qualified, working towards full qualification for ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ICAS, or a similar accounting designation.
• Preferred working knowledge of banking, digital currency (not mandatory),
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable liaising with external stakeholders, such as banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
• Willingness to collaborate and assist other teams as needed.
