Role Overview: The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our online sales platform, ensuring its functionality, and driving revenue growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective e-commerce strategies and marketing campaigns that boost brand visibility and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the overall e-commerce strategy to drive online sales and achieve revenue targets.
Oversee and optimise the functionality of the e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute effective digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, SEO, and paid advertising.
Monitor website analytics, sales metrics, and customer behaviour to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Manage product listings, pricing, and inventory levels to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for customers.
Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
Implement conversion rate optimization strategies to maximise sales and improve the overall online shopping experience.
Work closely with the customer service team to address customer inquiries and concerns related to online purchases.
Stay abreast of e-commerce best practices, emerging technologies, and industry regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Proven experience as an E-Commerce Manager or in a similar e-commerce leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, SEO, and online sales strategies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in managing and optimising e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering an exceptional online shopping experience.
Experience in analysing market trends, competitors, and consumer behaviour in the industry/sector.
