Dotnet Developer

Full Stack Developers to support a large Healthcare client based out of Richmond, VA. We are looking for experienced developers that will be supporting a customer facing, home grown application. The developer will be working both legacy applications, as well as new and improving platforms/enhancements. This Developer analyzes detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for assigned application. Codes applications using programming, scripting, and database languages.

Supports application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements.

NOTE:

This is 8 Months Contract and Remote

Responsibilities
Solid understanding of Object-oriented programming concepts
Experience using Visual Studio, TFS
Hands-on application development experience using ASP.Net MVC 4/5, C#
Experience using Microsoft SQL Server, SSMS and hands-on experience writing queries, store procedures, functions and triggers

Ability to work independently on multiple assignments and to work collaboratively within a team This individual must be able to learn current software systems and tools as they relate to the team and IT Bureau as a whole.
The successful candidate must have the ability to understand business requirements to then design and develop web applications.

Qualifications
- Strong experience in C#/.NET (4.6+)
- Either WCF or WPF experience (both preferred but just one is acceptable)
- ASP.NET experience

- Experience with MS SQL Server
- Proficient in writing high performance/ efficient code
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Effective communication skills (English
