We are a manufacturing, robotics, and autonomous software startup.
Need to have background tasks easily added to an existing Django project. I’m looking at either Celery or RQ. We want examples + documentation for a couple of use cases: kick off a simple job (like running a web scraper from a button), and schedule a job (run the web scraper once a day). Should save results to PostgreSQL and use environment variables for secrets. Experience in building production systems is important. We have other projects as well!
