DB2 DBA-LUW Admin

As a Senior DB2(LUW) DBA , the candidate would be involved in L1,L2,L3 activities (depending on grade), such as installing, managing, migrating and troubleshooting including high availability setups and ssis/ssas/ssrs services.
Responsibilities
• Product lifecycle Management of DB2 LUW server including high availability setup
• Applying/automating fixpacks, cumulative updates and hotfixes
• Perform Health check activities, monitoring, backup, space management and maintenance
Follow-up CIRATS i.e. Compliance, Issue, Risk
• User management and BAU activities • Setup and maintenance of Data replication services
• Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Backup and recovery methods including point in time recovery
• Database performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Occasional (part of a rota) 24*7 on call support for DB2 databases and applications
• Provide best in class solutions for all business needs
• Explore and help organization to implement best technical practices / recommendations to reduce technical debt and cost
• Managing and maintaining physical databases including database storage management, procedures and tools for access, database security, monitoring and tuning the database
• Analyzing system storage capacity and recommending improvements to ensure efficiency
• Assisting in the design and implementation of the physical framework of the database
• Assisting in the design and Roadmap of DB2 database
