Credit Manager -

Roles and Responsibilities-
• Responsible for the credit appraisal and underwriting of employed customers. Assessment of risk and repayment capacity of the customer to ascertain the credit worthiness by reviewing and verifying income statements, tax returns and other financial documents.
• Recommending the loan application for approval post credit appraisal and personal discussion in compliance with the lending policies of the organization within defined TAT
• Interacting with customers via telephone or email in order to understand the need of the customer and / or seek clarification on the documents perused to take an informed decision on the loan proposal
• Maintaining relationship with various channel partners and internal departments to process the loan applications within defined TAT.
Skills-
• Strong command over verbal/written communication and should be a good listener (Proficiency over regional language will be an added advantage).
• To exhibit high level of integrity and business ethics.
• Ability to work in a team to achieve the organization's goals.
• Ability to choose the best course of action based on data analysis and selecting the optimal outcome
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and ensure the files are processed in a error free manner in specified TAT.
• To analyze financial statements like income statements, tax returns and other financial documents
• Adheres strictly to standard operating procedures
