Background
Rathi group, kota is a family business which is engaged in manufacturing, real estate and education. The group is looking to hire an accountant who will be responsible for managing the accounting of the rathi group. The team member will be working directly with the group director. Rathi group team comprises alumni from IIT
Bombay and BITS Pilani.
It has a manufacturing unit of welding electrodes with strong domestic presence in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh,
Gujarat and Maharashtra. The welding unit was established in 1990.
In education, the group runs S. R. Public Senior Secondary School (SRPS), which is a professionally managed co-educational English medium school. Established in 2011, it aims to lay down a strong foundation right from childhood to youth to build student's character and to guide them to make informed decisions regarding their career aspects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
❖ Documenting financial transactions
❖ Monitoring the efficiency of existing accounting procedures and ensuring they comply with the government regulations
❖ Reviewing financial documents to resolve any discrepancies and irregularities
❖ Reconciling already documented reports, statements and various transactions
❖ Creating, reviewing and presenting budgets
❖ Recommending financial actions by analysing accounting options
❖ Cooperating with auditors in preparing audit reports
❖ Providing guidance on revenue enhancement, cost reduction and profit maximisation
❖ Preparing and analysing financial statements like cash flow statement, balance sheet and profit and loss statement
❖ Monthly and quarterly stock audits
❖ Weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports
❖ Submitting annual tax returns
Essential characteristics/Qualifications of the postholder
• CA preferred with experience of 2-4 years
• Strong Fundamental knowledge on accounting as per Indian laws
• Knowledge of managing both not for profit and for profit companies/proprietorship
• Good command over the English language.
• Microsoft Office, G Suite (Gmail & google drive)

Salary: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
