Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for a Business Development Specialist for DREAM (Ed-Tech - selling coding , business & skill development programs) located in the Kolkata metropolitan area with flexibility for some remote work. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for lead generation, market research, customer service, and communication with clients and stakeholders and closing deals. You would need to visit schools (min 6 a month) near your region , Explain about our services, have a tie-up with schools & sell our program to student of a school in bulk say min 200 programs sold per school.
Qualifications
• Analytical skills and ability to interpret data
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in lead generation and market research
• Customer service skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is good to have
• Experience in the technology industry is a plus
• Ability to work independently and remotely
Salary & Probation period
• Two months of training & probation period where you will get paid after you close deals with at least 2 schools bringing in at-least 400 students to join our programs every month.
• This probation period will be target based, you will get paid Rs.20,000 only once you complete probation criteria.
• There will be no allowances of any kind during probation period, any expenses incurred for travelling, food-ing or lodging will be your own.
• Once you successfully complete probation period, You will get a joining bonus of Rs.10,000 & Your salary will be in range of 30,000 to 35,000 based on your performance. You will start getting travel allowances of up to Rs.5000.
• You will have performance bases bonuses worth up to Rs.2,00,000 per year based on your performance.
• You will have total of 14 leaves(Both Casual & Medical combined) per year . You will not be able to take over 5 days of leave at at time else it will be unpaid leave.
• Workday will be from Sunday to Saturday with Monday off.
• Your daily attendance will be tracked on the basis of your performance & completion of targets and not hours or similar criteria. If your daily targets are not met , it will be counted as leave without pay. This is due to the fact that it is a remote job
