Android Developer

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team and take the lead in developing custom native Android applications for phones and tablets. As an Android Developer, you will utilize your expertise in Android app development to create innovative and user-friendly applications. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to understand project requirements and develop custom native Android applications.
Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring application performance, responsiveness, and excellent user experience.
Develop custom UI components, layouts, and interactive features to enhance the visual appeal and usability of the Android applications.
Implement application logic, handling data input and output, data storage, and integration with backend services and APIs.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the Android applications to identify and fix defects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Optimize application performance, including memory and network usage, and ensure compatibility across various Android devices and OS versions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, frameworks, and best practices, and apply them to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the development process.
Collaborate with backend developers to design and implement secure and efficient APIs for data exchange between the Android applications and backend systems.
Ensure code quality through code reviews, adhering to coding standards, and implementing best practices.
Work closely with product managers and designers to provide technical insights and contribute to the overall product strategy and user experience.
Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation of the application development process, including architectural decisions, implementation details, and user guides.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Proven experience as an Android Developer, with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered custom native Android applications for phones and tablets.
Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages for Android development.
In-depth understanding of Android app development concepts, including application components, activities, fragments, services, and asynchronous programming.
Experience with Android Studio, Android SDK, and related development tools.
Strong knowledge of Android UI/UX guidelines, custom UI development, and handling multiple device resolutions and screen sizes.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services and APIs into Android applications.
Solid understanding of data storage options on Android, including SQLite and SharedPreferences.
Thorough knowledge of Android debugging and profiling tools for performance optimization.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
