Android Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in building and maintaining high-quality applications for Android devices. The Android Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative features, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class user experiences.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and other relevant technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.

Work with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs and sockets, ensuring seamless communication between Android applications and back-end services.

Implement robust offline storage solutions, as well as optimize threading and performance tuning.

Utilize cloud message APIs, push notifications, location services, and accelerometer sensors to create engaging user experiences.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the Android ecosystem.

Leverage open-source libraries and resources to streamline development processes and improve efficiency.

Conduct benchmarking and optimization activities to ensure optimal app performance.

Integrate continuous integration tools and processes to maintain code quality and reduce development time.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications, ensuring their stability and reliability.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an Android Developer, with a strong portfolio of published applications.

Proficient in Kotlin and Java, with a strong understanding of the Android SDK.

Experience with Flutter/Dart is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud message APIs, push notifications, location services, and accelerometer sensors.

Extensive experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning techniques.

Demonstrated ability to work with RESTful APIs and sockets to integrate Android applications with back-end services.

In-depth knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries available for common tasks.

Familiarity with continuous integration tools and processes.

Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for benchmarking and optimization.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
