Accounts & Audit Manager

Terareum Digital India Services is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our talented team. This newly created role will work closely with the assistant controller and be a key resource on the team who will oversee routine period-end accounting functions and assist in the preparation and review of internal and external financial reports. The key deliverables include managing the accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate close process, Overseeing and coordinating all manual journal entries and account reconciliations, and other critical accounting functions, including assisting in the financial reporting process and technical accounting analysis. Mentoring and overseeing the accounting staff to foster a creative and collaborative work environment.

Job Duties:
• Monitor transactional compliance with GAAP
• Preparing, Overseeing, and Conducting Audits
• Identifying Risk
• Maintaining Compliance Record
• Reporting Results
• Ensure a complete, accurate. and timely month-end close process within established deadlines of the company.
• Create and review journal entries and ensure appropriate supporting documentation is included with those entries.
• Perform and review intercompany transactions.
• Prepare and review all monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor transactional compliance with GAAP as well as company policy and procedures
• Take the initiative to investigate reconciling items, or discrepancies and contact the appropriate individuals to gather information to propose and implement solutions.
• Develop accounting process memos that analyze transactions and draw conclusions based on relevant accounting guidance
• Assist with requests from independent auditors and internal audits related to the annual audit and quarterly reviews

Qualifications/Requirements:
• B.COM or M.COM or relevant professional certification is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience,
• Understanding and applicable experience applying GAAP.
• Exceptional attitude, attention to detail, and proven ability to work within a team.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team members and with an external partner.
• Works within and meets all deadlines while executing multiple deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
