Accounting Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY: Perform a wide variety of routine and non-routine accounting work in accordance with standard accounting procedures and documentation. Expected to be a contributing performer, performing financial/decision support accounting work that supports business processes.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs routine and non-routine accounting duties under general supervision.
• Works on special projects as needed.
• Applies knowledge of accounting methods and procedures.
• Documentation and testing SOX controls
• Perform account reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Compile accounting information and report to RBI
• Active involvement in preparation and audit of Local GAAP financial statements.
• Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department. Participates in the identification of problem areas and development of resolutions to address them.
• Respond to internal and external customer queries on a timely basis
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Working Knowledge on IndAS and US GAAP.
• Knowledge of accounting distribution principles and ability to verify correctness and completeness of such information.
• Knowledge of and ability to use the software packages associated with accounting.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Qualified Chartered Accountants with minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
