Reporting to: Chief Finance Officer
Function: Accounts and Finance
Role Summary: The role holder will be responsible for budget tracking, maker-checker voucher checking, MIS, supporting in compliances work like TDS, GST.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of budgets and monitoring them with actuals
• Review/make the voucher entries in Tally or other records as part of Maker-Checker mechanism to ensure proper accounting and compliance with TDS, GST and other laws.
• Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly MIS
• Cross-functional support to the heads of the Schools, other functions, and Activities.
• Define the process documents and prepare the workflow for automation.
• Handling Audits, Statutory compliances like TDS, GST, FCRA, etc.
• Helping in complying with project-related requirements like Grant utilisation certifications.
• Any other tasks/ responsibilities assigned, time to time as per the requirements.
